KPAII Website for Indonesia Ministry of Industry
Government Website with CMS for Ministry of Industry
About KPAII
KPAII is the digital platform of the Directorate General of Industrial Resilience, Regional Access, and International Industrial Access (Direktorat Jenderal Ketahanan, Perwilayahan, dan Akses Industri Internasional) under Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry. The platform serves as an authoritative digital information hub, communicating national industrial strategies, international cooperation initiatives, and investment opportunities to stakeholders across Indonesia and beyond.
The ministry required a robust digital presence capable of reflecting Indonesia’s ambitions on the global stage, including the country’s participation in World Expo 2025 Osaka. The existing digital infrastructure made it difficult for ministry staff to keep content current, and the site lacked the clarity and accessibility expected of a major government portal.
Digital Infrastructure for Industrial Policy
The KPAII website presents complex policy information in an accessible, structured format. Navigation is designed around the needs of multiple stakeholder groups, from industry executives and investors seeking detailed policy information to members of the public looking for an overview of national industrial direction. The responsive design ensures full accessibility across desktop and mobile devices, an essential requirement for a government platform serving a geographically dispersed audience.
A key feature of the platform is its custom content management system, which empowers ministry staff to independently update news articles, official documents, policy publications, and event announcements without requiring technical expertise. This reduces dependency on external developers for routine content updates and ensures the site can be kept current as policy priorities evolve.
How Dihardja Software Helps
Dihardja Software provided end-to-end digital development services for the KPAII project, from initial UI/UX design through to deployment. The design phase focused on creating a visual language appropriate for a government ministry, combining formal authority with clarity and approachability.
On the technical side, Dihardja Software developed a responsive front-end using modern web technologies and integrated a custom CMS tailored to the specific content management workflows of ministry staff. The system supports structured content publishing, multilingual content requirements, and a document management capability for official publications. The collaborative development process, involving iterative prototyping and close coordination with the ministry team, ensured the final product met both the functional requirements and the visual standards expected of a leading government institution.
